You are close to the village of Steni, where you can find coffee shops and a traditional taverna to dine out day or night. Lysos is also near you, there you can find The Paradisos Hotel, which is well-known for it's traditional Cyprus cuisine. Lysos offers many activities such as horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, with many nature trails as well as bicycle trails for the more active.
Peristerona is well-known for it's agriculture and produces all kinds of citrus fruit. The name Peristerona means dove or pigeon (peristeri). It is a lush green village and looks great in Winter, in Spring it is breath taking and many photographers and artists visit the village, because of it's beauty.
