Nearby beaches include Alagadi Beach, a protected and unspoiled area known for its turtles. A popular beach is Kaplica, a 25-minute drive away, with beautiful golden sand and safe swimming. This is a very positive step for all of Esentepe, which is growing steadily as many foreign buyers choose to invest in holiday homes on the beautiful coast. On the beach, there is also a volleyball court and a large restaurant with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean.

In addition, there are 2 water parks nearby. Both are highly recommended and only 20 minutes' drive away.

The cooling pine forest of the KYRENIA MOUNTAIN Range is only a short drive through the village of Esentepe. 
In the forest are designated BBQ areas which are very popular with local families in the summer months and great walks.
