Perched on a green hillside just below the village of Ilgaz, the villa is a cherished family home, very fully equipped for your every need, and totally private and not overlooked in any way. You can walk to a local bakery, bistro and to a five star vineyard hotel which has two restaurants, one fine dining, one tapas. The beaches are 5 to 10 minutes drive down the hill as are supermarkets, banks, and many other restaurants and bars. Kyrenia is a 15 minute drive with its charming little harbour, castle and shopping area. Ercan airport is 40 minutes away and Larnaca, around 75 minutes. The views from each room of the property are breath taking. Hiking/biking trails run through the mountains and valleys from just beyond the house.

A covered terrace runs the entire width of the house, opening from glass sliding doors to the dining room, kitchen and living room. On the terrace is a marble dining table and chairs, two sofas, chairs and a coffee table. It is ideal for evening drinks and watching the sunset or lazing with a book in the shade. There is a covered pergola beside the pool with draped curtains which also contains a dining table and chairs. The pool is totally private and is surrounded by a lovely terrace with comfortable loungers for everyone. It is 11m x 6m - larger than most - and is entered by a Roman end. The shallow end of the pool is 1m deep and the deep end is 2m. The views from the pool terrace are amazing. There is an outdoor shower for use. The swimming pool has underwater lights for night swimming and there is atmospheric lighting throughout the outdoor area.
In the garden is a traditional woodburning oven which can be used to make pizza, bread, roast meats. There is also a brick built bbq and a smaller Cypriot style bbq. The gardens are extensive stretching down the hillside and contain seating areas under the trees and another rustic dining area with bench seating. There are fruit trees in the orchard and a grapevine which guests can pick fruit and nuts from. We have olives, figs, almonds, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, pomegranate and loquats, and red pepper trees. Below the house is a covered carport for 2 cars and above is a drive which gives flat access to the house.

The house is on two floors. There are 4 large bedrooms on the first floor. Three of them have king size beds, one has two twin beds. All bedrooms have wooden floors, built in wardrobes and air conditioning/inverter heating. All of them have sea and mountain views. Two bedrooms have private balconies looking down to the sea. One bedroom is ensuite. Both upstairs bathrooms have large shower cubicles, and modern built in facilities. Downstairs there is a large living room with comfortable seating and marble floors. There is a 50" smart tv, a dvd player, sound bar, music system and many hundreds of books, dvds and cds. The formal dining room has a table seating 8. The entrance hallway is airy and light with a table containing tourist information, books, maps and brochures. The dine in kitchen is very well equipped with every convenience. There is a built in electric oven, a gas hob, microwave, extractor fan, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, top of the range fruit juicer, Kitchenaid blender, hand blender, Nespresso machine, electric drip coffee maker, electric Turkish coffee maker, stove top espresso machines, electric kettle, toaster, Pavona espresso/capuccino maker, electric ice water/boiling water dispenser. The kitchen table seats 8 people.
There is a seperate toilet with wash hand basin downstairs. There is an electric fan in the living room.

The villa is set in an individual plot and there are no houses overlooking it. It is walking distance to the picturesque and idyllic village of Ilgaz where you will find a traditional bakery for bread, a village cafe, a popular bistro/bar and a five star vineyard hotel. The hotel has two restaurants: one fine dining and one tapas style. There is also a wine spa there. Both the village bistro and the hotel tapas bar host music nights and entertainments periodically. A short drive down the hill brings you to the beaches and many, many more excellent restaurants and bars, three supermarkets, shops, atms and banks. It is an ideal location. The villa is incredibly peaceful and serene and yet within a short walk or drive there are many facillities. There are many beaches nearby. Some are developed with cafes, umbrellas, loungers, showers and water sports, some are turtle beaches and are therefore left undisturbed. Within 10 minutes of the villa are Escape Beach and Deniz Kizi beach, both ideal for families, sandy and idyllic. For a small charge you can enjoy the day there. In the summer turtles come in to lay their eggs along the coast and youo can go and see the babies hatch many days in the summer. Other days out include: the ancient ruins of the city Salamis about 90 minutes drive; Famagusta with its many shops and picturesque walled old city (90 mins), Nicosia, an ancient walled city with a bazaar, coverd market, ancient buildings, whirling dervishes and lovely old courtyards (45 mins). You can scramble amidst the castle ruins of St Hilarion and enjoy the stunning view over to Turkey in a clear day. You can go snorkelling or scuba diving at various places along the coast - Escape beach is nearest. Kyrenia itself has much to offer apart from the harbour. The castle is well worth a visit and contains a perfectly preserved ancient shipwreck. There are many shops selling everything from luxury goods to turkish delight. The handbag shops are well worth a visit.

The house is set into the mountainside which literally starts from the rear garden. The views will take your breath away. Wifi internet is provided free throughout the house and extending to part of the pool terrace.. We have a variety of baby/toddler equipment for your use. A travel cot (bring own bedding), stairgate, high chair and pushchair are available free for your use. We generally have a collection of children's swim aids and water toys. We provide all linens and towels including pool/beach towels. The kitchen is very fully equipped with cutlery, glassware, crockery and kitchen utensils. It is far better equipped than a standard rental property.
