The Troodos mountains are within driving distance and offer cool tranquility in summer. There are also many archeological sites nearby that Cyprus' 10,000 year old history has to offer.

Nearest airport Larnaca which is an easy 20 minute drive through wonderful traditional Cypriot villages along the coastline and scenic country roads.
Ten minute drive to Mazatos beach, popular with locals with beach bar and cafe/ restaurant.
