Roger Brown, O.T.R./L, C.H.T., is an Occupational Therapist for Select Physical Therapy?s Cumming, Duluth and Dacula outpatient physical therapy centers. He has treated a variety of injuries involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand to include fractures, tendon and nerve lacerations, rotator cuff repair and frozen shoulders. Roger received his OT training in the United States Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, Army Medical Specialist Corps. He received his Master?s Degree in Health Education in Occupational Therapy from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA in 1991; Master?s Degree in Adult Education from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA in 1983, and his Bachelor?s in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC in 1977.

Roger is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist; He has training from Atlanta Back School. Roger is also trained in WorkSteps and WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluations. He has completed the following continuing education courses: Philadelphia Hand Course, March 2012 and Advanced Splinting Course with Judy Colditz, O.T.R./L., C.H.T., 2012.

Roger?s Vision: As a Certified Hand Therapist I want to be a part of the growth of Hand Therapy and Select Medical for the Georgia market. To be a mentor for inspiring therapist who wants to obtain their C.H.T. certification; be involved in a student?s affiliation program as a specialty area for Hand Therapy.
