Beautiful, luxurious and completely renovated Victorian mansion perched high on a hill directly above the city of Cripple Creek. The striking design of the Gold Strike Inn is just the first of many distinctive features that will please you. Enjoy stunning, awesome views of downtown Cripple Creek, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and wildlife from the wrap-around deck and home interior. There are 6 bedrooms (appointed with modern furniture) and 8 bathrooms spread out over 4 levels (no more than 2 rooms on any level) with many common areas in between. Each room has a private bath, king or queen bed with 800 thread count sheets and a 32"-46" flat screen TV with DVR (or DVR access) receiving all HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, The Movie Channel and Encore stations. There are two king rooms, a king suite with a large Jacuzzi, separate shower / bath, double vanity, walk-in closet and sitting area; and three queen rooms that all have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. There is a large well-appointed kitchen as well as a formal dining room, living room, office and several other common areas with additional sitting / socializing areas. The living room has a 65" TV with DVD player and a stereo system. A covered wraparound deck and lower level patio are furnished with ample seating to enjoy the spectacular views. A gas grill is located on the outdoor wraparound deck. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer available only to long term guests staying at least 5 nights. The only other areas not available to guests are the garage (and the room above it) as well as three small storage closets. There are no permanent residents at the Inn; i.e., guests are the only occupants when renting the building. Complimentary high speed WIFI and local / long distance calling (within the U.S.) is available to all guests. The upper parking area can accommodate 6-8 vehicles and the lower driveway can accommodate 1-2 automobiles. The Gold Strike Inn has accommodated many weddings, family reunions and other functions taking advantage of its unique and beautiful location / amenities. There are no additional charges beyond the basic rental charge / tax for these functions. Some complimentary serving dishes and folding tables, as well as up to 25 comfortable padded folding chairs can be provided upon request.
