The Cement Creek Winter Trail offers nordic skiing in the winter months and endless hiking in the summer months. You can access the Huckeby Conservation area from Kubler or Cascadilla Street.

Getting Around:
Crested Butte South is very walkable with most things being less than a 10 minute walk away and a free shuttle bus system providing access to Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte, and Gunnison.

FREE SHUTTLE BUSES: A free shuttle bus provided by Gunnison Valley RTA makes 15 minute trips from Crested Butte South to Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte. You can access this bus at the Red Mountain Park on Cascadilla Street. This shuttle can also take you to Gunnison, CO. DOG FRIENDLY: We accept dogs on a case by case basis for a $40/night/dog fee. We have our own and want to share this place with other dog owners, but want to make sure dogs are not left unsupervised, stay off the furniture and carpet, and do not disturb our neighbors.
