It's a place to find modern comfort, peace and quiet, and unmatched recreation in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

This home sits about nine miles southeast of downtown Crested Butte, in a rural community with wide-open views of the surrounding landscape. It's a short drive to world-class outdoor activities, from The Club at Crested Butte (seven miles) to the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort (11 miles).

Begin summer mornings with a cup of coffee on the patio - the perfect spot to catch the sunrise and watch for wildlife passing through the alpine meadows. The scene is every bit as breathtaking in the afternoons and evenings, with steaks searing on the gas grill, marshmallows roasting over the firepit, and the alpenglow illuminating the neighboring peaks.

One of the best features of this home are the windows at every turn - walls of glass that bring in natural sunlight and spectacular scenery. There's a lightness to the contemporary decor, from the living room with its smart TV to the airy kitchen with its stainless steel appliances and expansive center island. In addition to the conveniences of complimentary WiFi and a private washer/dryer, you'll have two full bathrooms to pair with the two serene bedrooms.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Crested Butte South, a neighborhood in Crested Butte, is home to this vacation home. Center for the Arts and Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Crested Butte Nordic Center. Trailhead Children's Museum and Ice Rink are also worth visiting.
