Immaculately maintained and updated on an annual basis by owners who strive to provide the best vacation experience possible, Ocean Breeze boasts a top-floor location within the private community of Indian Summer. From its deck, you'll enjoy views of the pool and the Currituck Club golf course. Inside, you’ll find a vacation home furnished with care and numerous amenities. This is one of the few condos within the community to offer secure WiFi Internet access, flatscreen TVs in every room, extensive video and book libraries, board games and more.

Guests also have free access to an exterior storage area where fishing rods and reels, beach supplies and chairs are available for your enjoyment. Directly behind Ocean Breeze is the community tennis court, which can be easily monitored for availability.

At the center of the community, is a sparkling pool and expansive deck, complete with lounge chairs and umbrella-topped tables. There is nothing more refreshing than a cool swim on a hot summer day, either in the pool or the ocean -- and you don’t need a trolley or a car to reach the beach here.

Ocean Breeze is a mere stone’s throw from the water, and the beach access is next to one of the few undeveloped parcels of oceanfront remaining in the area. Peaceful walks, shifting shells beds and shallow tidal pools abound on this warm blanket of sand.

Ocean Breeze’s location offers the best of both worlds. It’s not as crowded as points south but still has many of the same activities and conveniences. It's close to all of the area's most popular attractions, and with the nearest brand name hotel charging more than $400 per night for a single room, it is a great value as well.

If you’ve never been to the Outer Banks, then you are in for a treat. Ocean Breeze is located in the vacation town of Corolla, NC. Corolla is part of the northern Outer Banks where the wild horses still roam free. There is plenty to do within walking and driving distance of Ocean Breeze. Following is a list of popular activities for visitors of all ages.

Wild Horse Sanctuary and 4WD Area
Just a few miles north of Ocean Breeze is Corolla’s off-road area where wild Mustangs still run free. Accessible by your own four-wheel drive vehicle or through a professional tour guide, this is a highlight of the area. There are no paved streets here. The beach road ends, and the Outer Banks of old begins.

Charter, Pier or Surf Fishing
Drop a line in the surf or from a pier. The local tackle shops can tell you what’s biting, what bait to use and whether you need a fishing license. Or better yet, book a charter for a real sport fishing adventure. Due to its close proximity to the Gulf Stream and the continental shelf edge near Cape Hatteras, the Outer Banks is home to some very big fish, several world and state records, and some of the best offshore game fishing in the world. Charters can be booked from the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, approximately an hour’s drive from Ocean Breeze, and Pirate’s Cove Marina, which is a little closer. Crabbing
It couldn’t be easier. All you need is a piece of string and some bait. Dangle it into the sound and see what bites. Need a little more excitement? Kids of all ages will LOVE “crabbing” on the beach at night. Grab a bucket and a flashlight and catch as many fiddler crabs as you can. There are tons of them, some as small as spiders. Release them all at once and listen to squeals of delight as they scurry over toes and back into the shadows.

Golf
The Currituck Club is located directly across the main road from Ocean Breeze and is a gorgeous, highly rated course.

Tour the Whalehead Club
Located just up the street from Ocean Breeze, the Whalehead Club is a restored hunting retreat on 39 acres of soundfront property where walking paths, bridges and breathtaking sunsets abound. This is a great place for family photos, as well as access to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

Currituck Beach Lighthouse
The Currituck Beach Lighthouse is open for climbing, and its top platform offers a panoramic view of the area and of the village resting at its base.

Corolla Village
Resting at the base of the lighthouse, Corolla Village can be toured on foot or by Segway, which is a fun way for anyone 12 and older to get around.

Shop
Ocean Breeze is ideally situated near several of the area's most popular shopping centers, including the shops at Timbuktu. Kids will enjoy Kitty Hawk Kites and Wings (home of the hermit crab cage).

Pool Dates: Pool is open from mid-April to October. Please inquire for exact dates.

Taxes: 12.75% Currituck County vacation rental tax and state tax. Taxes apply to all home and hotel rentals in the county and are subject to change without notice.

Guest Options: A number of guest options are available, including bed and bath linen service, early check-in, late-check-out, etc. Options can be selected on the guest information page accompanying the vacation rental agreement. Fees vary, please inquire if interested.

Occupancy
Please know that the 6-guest maximum occupancy assumes at least two of the guests are children age 12 and under.

Vacation Rental Agreement
A signed vacation rental agreement is required. A copy of the agreement is available for guest review at the time of booking. A copy for signing will be sent to guests once VRBO releases contact information. A copy of the primary leaseholder's driver's license is also required for identity verification purposes. Failure to remit these items will constitute a cancellation, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Accessibility
Please know that Ocean Breeze is a top floor property in a two-story building and is accessible by stairs. In addition, the beach accesses in this area of the Outer Banks are also accessible by stairs. Please consider this carefully if stairs are an issue for anyone in your party.

Located by the sea, this condo is in Ocean Sands, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Pine Island Racquet & Fitness Center are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Corolla Raceway and Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education. Nor'Banks Sailing and Currituck National Wildlife Refuge are also worth visiting.
