Welcome to Praney’s Place, a sunset-facing lakefront retreat on the east side of Conesus Lake, perfect for family vacations, multi-family stays, and relaxing week-long getaways.
The property features true shallow water entry that gradually deepens past the dock, making it ideal for families with children and swimmers of all experience levels. Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or relaxing by the water, and unwind in the hot tub overlooking the lake as the sun sets each evening.
This 5-bedroom, 2,000 sq. ft. home comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, with four queen bedrooms and a bunk room featuring two full beds—perfect for kids or shared spaces. Two brand new sleeper sofas in the main living area provide additional flexible sleeping options for larger groups.
The open-concept layout includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table for 8, additional bar seating, and a comfortable living room with a sectional and fireplace for gathering after a day on the lake.
Outdoor living is a highlight, with three levels of deck space offering multiple areas to relax, dine, and take in the views. A private seasonal dock provides easy lake access, and guests can enjoy complimentary kayaks included with their stay for exploring Conesus Lake directly from the property.
For those looking to spend more time on the water, a pontoon boat is available to rent for $1,800 per week. Guests are also welcome to bring their own boat and dock it during their stay.
Additional amenities include central air conditioning, TVs in every bedroom, washer and dryer, a fire pit for evening gatherings, a grill for outdoor cooking, and parking for up to five vehicles.
Many families return year after year to enjoy the simplicity of lake life, from morning coffee on the deck to afternoons in the water and evenings spent watching the sunset.
Located in Conesus, this vacation home is on a lake. Livingston County Historical Society Museum and Geneseo Riviera Theater are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Deer Run Winery and Avon Park Theater. Hemlock Fair and SUNY Geneseo Big Tree Arboretum are also worth visiting.
