Columbus Cottage provides a private guest suite with comfy furnishings & en suite amenities in my downtown Columbus home.
Safe neighborhood just minutes away from health centers for those traveling here for work and minutes to local horse show facilities.
The space
This guest suite in my home provides a comfortable, private retreat for travelers.
This dedicated space includes a living room, sleeping area with queen bed/comfy luxury linens; walk-in closet with dry kitchenette; a large bath with jetted tub; fast wi-fi; smart TV with tons of stations and streaming TV options --- all to make this your home away from home.
While the kitchen and main living room and outdoor spaces are available for your use, they are shared with me. I work from home and also have a private suite, so am always available by txt or phone should you need anything.
As an experienced host I've brought the furniture, furnishings, amenities and hospitality I've been known for at my former location --Happy Home Farm (please see that listing here on vbro for reviews) to my new setting 'in town' ---Happy Home Guest Suite @ Columbus Cottage.
Our garage is now available for use by guests - fits one car. Attached to home via screened in porch, this provides additional security for guests who may keep late or early hours for work or horse shows. Garage remote will be provided for your use and keyless entry has been installed.

MAXIMUM DAYS FOR EACH STAY IS 28 DAYS - our monthly discounted rate is based upon 28 day stays. For longer term bookings contact host/special pricing may be offered. Note- for longer term stays cleaning of the suite by host or hosts' staff is required each week and is now included in the discounted extended stay price. By booking you acknowledge that no length of stay constitutes 'residency'.
We now have a camera to keep an eye on wildlife in the backyard. Guests may be visible on camera when entering/exiting screened in porch to the back yard or when traversing the back yard.
Located in Columbus, this vacation home is in the city center. House of Flags Museum and Landrum Depot are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Green River Adventures and Gib Gosnell Park. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Tryon International Equestrian Center or The Cliffs At Glassy Wellnes Center.
