You will find peace and tranquility surrounded by plants throughout the home, a large, fully fenced backyard with redwoods, two decks for a cozy BBQ or chairs to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. The Sequoyah House is the perfect place to stay for large families, business or holidays.

The space
The Sequoyah House offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; one of the bedrooms is an office room with a comfortable futon couch that folds down into a full-size bed and comfortably sleeps two. You will feel as if you have your own private suite in the master bedroom with its large open layout, open shower, spacious tub for two and a private toilet room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The Samsung appliances are all new and easy to use, including a front loading Washer and dryer.
There is also an air mattress inside the ottoman that can be used if needed for more guests; in the separate dining room/den. The living room is inviting with a comfortable sectional couch and large Smart TV-where you will find local news channels, streaming and access to Netflix. Wifi is also provided. Private parking in the driveway in front of the house can accommodate 3 cars. Extra street parking is also allowed. If requested, one regular mountain bike with a lock can be used to enjoy the Bidwell Park for beautiful scenic rides, or to ride to downtown Chico in 10 minutes from the house. A two person Kayak can be available upon early request to enjoy the near by Lakes.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house except the garage, an outdoor building, a locked closet in the office, and a locked closet in the master bedroom. There is a second closet in the master bedroom that Is accessible. Guest can enjoy the back deck and backyard with lounge chairs, sun chairs and BBQ.
Other things to note
This house is on a septic system, so we kindly ask guests staying here (especially large groups) to be respectful of overuse of toilets and to please only flush toilet paper. No baby wipes, flushable wipes or feminine hygiene products. The house also has nice hardwood floors throughout so we ask guest to be mindful of the floors.
The neighborhood is safe and central to Chico, just a 5 min drive to the main center, or a 10 minute bike ride. The house is on a cul-de-sac, but there are no sidewalks and the street feels a bit like a rustic orchard road. The backyard is rustic but feels like your in the country with 80 foot redwoods and a large backyard nicely fenced that goes back 180 feet. All the direct neighbors are great and easy to deal with if necessary.
This house can easily be infant/young child-safe by allowing the guest to plug in receptacle plugs on their own accord if needed, but other than that a very safe home for young children, and has a nice selection of games for kids in the den area with a library wall.

Chico is home to this vacation home. Bowlero Chico and Cinemark Tinseltown Chico 14 are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bille Park and Noble Orchards. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and mountain climbing nearby.
