Eagles Nest Cabin, with incredible views, is a cozy retreat that can accommodate up to six guests and is pet friendly. Fifteen minutes from Blue Ridge, GA, Eagles Nest is the perfect romantic get-away, a great place to enjoy close friends, or a wonderful place to bond with family. As you enter the cabin you will immediately appreciate the cleanliness and well-appointed amenities. The fully stocked kitchen ensures that you have everything you need for preparing and enjoying meals onsite. Enjoy the woodburning fireplace in the den while relaxing with friends, watching your favorite TV show or game or playing board games. This charming cabin features two bedrooms on the lower level, one king and the other queen along with a full bath. Upstairs, you will find a spacious loft area with a comfortable seating area, a full bath, and a daybed with a trundle. For entertainment, there is a professional foosball table to enjoy. The cabin is equipped with cable and Wi-Fi, excellent cell phone coverage, and two TVs, one in the den and another one in the king master bedroom.
If you're looking to relax and unwind, step out onto the large screened-in porch offering a table and chairs, rocking chair and glider. Enjoy the extraordinary breathtaking views of the peaks and valleys of Rich Mountain wilderness, one of the highest peaks in Georgia standing at over 4,100 ft. Grill burgers or a steak and relax with a drink, good book, or with friends. Step out onto the extended deck and enjoy the hot tub and breathe in the clean mountain air. Step into the back yard and enjoy smores roasted over the fire pit.
And yes, the roads leading to the cabin are paved making the cabin easily assessable in any vehicle.
While you are here, don't miss the incredible outdoor experiences, browsing and shopping in Blue Ridge or Ellijay just minutes away, or enjoy some of the finest dining experiences in the south. Hiking is at your backdoor as the Benton McKaye Trail, a feeder trail for the Appalachian Trail, literally runs throughout community. Enjoy fishing in the community on one of its many small lakes. Within twenty-five minutes you can enjoy the outdoor experiences within the Aska Adventure Area including hiking, waterfalls, and tubing. If you enjoy lakes, don't miss Blue Ridge Lake moments away. If you are in for a hardy rafting experience, the Ocoee is less than an hour.
For those with a bit more tranquil desire, take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to Copperhill, TN, play putt-putt, mosey through the shops of Blue Ridge or Ellijay, take a helicopter ride, or picnic. Don't miss out on one of the many BBQ restaurants, the fudge or ice cream.
For those on taking a romantic get-away, after relaxing at the cabin head into downtown Blue Ridge and enjoy the fine dining at Chesters, General Ledger, Harvest on Main, or the Black Sheep.
