The city's best walking trails are just 1 mile down the road, and the renowned University of Virginia is only 1.5 away. It's just a short drive to any of the area's countless vineyards, breweries and cideries, and 30 minutes from the beautiful Shenendoah National Park and scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
