Dr. Marsha Pollock - CENTREVILLE, VA

Dr. Pollock loves providing high-quality veterinary care for both dogs and cats. She has a special interest in feline medicine as well and takes pleasure in working at a Feline Friendly Practice. AAFP, which is the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Some of her other professional interests include internal medicine cases, pain management, performing joint injections, and dentistry. She also greatly enjoys working together as a team with the pet owners to tailor the medical care to their own personal and individual pets needs. Dr. Pollock has expertise in various aspects of veterinary medicine, and includes the privilege of having participated in a specialized continuing education training program in communication. Dr. Pollock is dedicated to addressing all of your needs and helping to educate owners regarding their loved ones care.

Dr. Pollock began her veterinary career as a high school student by joining VCA Centreville Animal Hospital in 2003 as part of our boarding assistant team. She continued to work at Centreville Animal Hospital throughout her education, and she graduated from college Summa Cum Laude as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Dr. Pollock received her Doctorate degree and graduated with honors from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech) in May 2011 and was the salutatorian of the 2011 veterinary class.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Pollock loves to spend time with her husband and her pets. Dr. Pollock was married to her wonderful husband in July of 2014 and they love to go hiking with the dogs. Her two mixed breed rescue dogs are named Smokey and Trooper, and her cat Shadow loves to boss the dogs around! Dr. Pollock plays in an indoor soccer league, as well as enjoys running and participating in half-marathons. She is also a big football fan. Family is very important to Dr. Pollock and she was born and raised here in Northern Virginia. She still has many relatives that live in this area and they bring their pets to VCA Centreville Animal Hospital too.
