Dr. Travis Taylor - CENTREVILLE, VA

Dr. Travis Taylor, a Northern Virginia native, became interested in veterinary medicine while growing up on a small family farm in Nokesville. In addition to taking care of animals on the farm, Dr. Taylor began his veterinary career as a teenager working at a local animal hospital.

After graduating from Virginia Tech, Dr. Taylor went on to receive his Doctorate degree from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. His post graduate work was completed through the Perdue Veterinary Management Institute. In May, 2012, Dr. Taylor received his executive Masters in Business Administration from George Mason University.

Dr. Taylor joined Centreville Animal Hospital in 2003 and works as an Associate Veterinarian and Medical Director. Dr. Taylor has ensured that Centreville Animal Hospital continues to be a practice devoted to providing the best quality veterinary care to our community as well as dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond.

Dr. Taylor is an active member of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA), American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association where he has served in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer and Officer.

Dr. Taylor currently serves as a mentor to students actively involved or seeking involvement in veterinary medicine. He is passionate about promoting patient care through collaboration within the profession. He enjoys challenging cases especially where the patient�s quality of life can be improved with the aid of surgical procedures.
