The town of Athens is a 5 minute drive and offers The Little Spirit it runs on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 to 10PM. It leaves Hudson on the hour, and Athens on the half-hour. It’s $10 roundtrip, and seems like the start of a great date night or early evening activity with the kids. The ferry runs through October.

Catskill is home to this apartment. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cairo Lockwood State Forest and Hudson River Islands State Park, while Greene County Historical Society and Bronck Museum are cultural highlights.
