Many highlights—including Carmel Beach and downtown—are within walking distance, but a car is recommended for exploring Pebble Beach, Monterey, Big Sur, and beyond. Scenic drives along 17-Mile Drive and Highway 1 are just minutes away, with bike rentals and ride services also available for convenient local travel.
