Just a five minute walk along a shady nature trail to a private beach on the Atlantic Ocean, from which you can watch the space shuttles and cruise ships coming and going. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome features sliders from both bedrooms onto a balcony overlooking the 2 story screened lanai set amidst lush tropical landscaping. The open plan first floor features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances adjoining the living and dining areas in addition to a full bath and laundry. This unique floor plan offers ideal indoor outdoor living with all rooms opening onto the screened outdoor area, particularly useful on those occasions when mosquitoes are present. Freshly decorated with a very tropical island motif you'll feel as if you've been transported to paradise. Fully fenced, this retreat provides a serene sense of privacy and an outdoor shower. Not only are linens and towels provided but so are beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart and a selection of sports and beach accessories. If you need to work remotely, high-speed internet and streaming Roku TV are provided. With an assigned parking space just steps from your front gate, a guest pass is provided for a second car to park in open parking. A 12% Tourist Tax is required by the state and county for any lease less than 6 months. Ocean Woods is a gated community featuring a canopy of mature Live Oak trees and tropical landscaping along with two heated pools (one adult and one family), a clubhouse with sauna, shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, basketball and racquetball and a population of peacocks roaming the grounds. Just 2.5 miles to Port Canaveral with an array of eateries, water sports and cruise opportunities, 15 miles to Kennedy Space Center and 11 miles to Historic Cocoa Village on the Indian River and the renowned Cocoa Village Playhouse. You'll never lack for interesting activities to experience, including watching rocket launches from the beach or a visit to the Historic Cocoa Beach Pier. Conveniently located approximately 45 minutes from either Orlando or Melbourne Airport and approximately 60 minutes from Disney and Universal Studio theme parks.
