On the banks of the pristine Cowichan River you will find Cowichan River Lodge – a luxury Lodge nestled in a stunning area of natural wilderness. It is a home away from home for up to 10 guests in the unspoiled Cowichan River Valley. The Lodge is beautiful and spacious with 4 large ensuite bedrooms (7 beds in total), a gorgeous great room with wood burning fire, a billiards room with a pool table, large screen TV, games and books, and a dining area with full kitchen. The outdoor patio has stunning views across the natural beaver pond to the unspoilt Cowichan River and our 16 acres of private property. Cowichan River Lodge is not only a destination for those wanting to fish in the wilds of Vancouver Island and catch that trophy trout or salmon, but also a place for those seeking an outdoor adventure or destination to rest and relax with friends and loved ones. Nearby you will find many exciting activities such as fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, river tubing, whale watching, local winery tours, motorsport and performance driving experiences and so much more. Whatever you choose to do, you will be assured a warm welcome in our cozy and private Lodge.
Located in Lake Cowichan, this lodge is in the mountains and on a river. Duncan Meadows Golf Course and Averill Creek Winery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Bald Mountain Park and Cowichan River Provincial Park. Kaatza Station Museum and Cowichan Lake Sports Arena are also worth visiting.
