Activities: There are a variety of water-based activities to engage in, such as kayaking, fishing, and swimming. These activities allow you to make the most of your time by the water and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The cottage includes 3 kayaks and a paddle boat for the guests to enjoy (subject to availability - please contact host if this is a must for you) During the winter, the cottage is ideal for ice fishing. Close to amenities such as Tim Horton’s, LCBO, gas station, groceries and restaurants.

The lake starts off shallow, however gets fairly deep.

Open concept with a fireplace and TV. Kitchen amenities are included.
Walk out on the deck for a gorgeous view of the lake with lounging chairs.

Total of 2 bedrooms with a common sleep area. One bedroom includes a 1 bunk bed, Another contains 1 queen bed. Living room equipped of a sofa bed.

6-seater hot tub with the view of the lake! (Available only from October till April) may request use for other months for additional fee. Need to contact host prior.

We provide clean bedding for each bedroom. For the common sleeping spaces, we will provide blankets and pillows. There will be hand soap and toilet paper, but please bring your own to ensure you have enough for your entire stay. Guests need to bring their own towel.

We are on city water. Allow ample time between showers as our hot water tank is small and may take take time for the water to heat up after depleting supply.

There are no window coverings on the patio door as of the moment but we’re currently procuring it. If this is something that is important to you, please contact host prior to booking.

There might be bugs as we’re on the water.

RULES TO AGREE UPON ONCE RENTING THE COTTAGE:

Property not suitable for kids or infants as we haven’t child-proofed or infant-proofed some of the potential hazards including but not limited to direct access to the lake, steep stairs, uncovered outlets, cabinets with cleaning products where they can reach, etc.

1.Absolutely no smoking inside the house or in the patio/deck area
2. Guests need prior approval before using kayaks or paddle board. Use of these equipment means that guests agree to the liability waiver provided below. There will be lifejackets available to use but Guests are encouraged to bring their own life jackets to ensure proper fit. It is mandatory that anyone who uses the watercraft must wear a lifejacket.
3. There is a fire pit in the backyard for guests to use. However, the fire wood will not be provided, so please bring your own. Please put the fire out at the end of each night.
4. If the outside patio furniture or chairs are moved throughout the day, please put everything back where they belong by the end of the day. This is to ensure that none of the furniture is picked up by the water current or change in active weather.
5. No PETS are allowed on the property. But maybe allowed on case by case basis. Need to arrange with the host prior.
6. Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver

Liability Waiver:
You understand that swimming and the use of kayaks or paddle board is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, using the kayaks or paddle boards. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, use of the kayaks and paddleboards and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, and the use of kayaks and paddle boards may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, using the kayaks or paddleboards if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, or uses the kayaks or paddleboards while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, using the kayaks or paddleboards. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below or booking the place constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.

Big Cedar Golf Club and Innisbrook Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Simcoe and Sinclair Tract. Retro Planet and Allandale Recreation Centre are also worth visiting.
