Beautiful, sun-filled, waterfront home where the Choptank meets the Chesapeake Bay. Water views from nearly every window. Watch the sunset from large porches with plenty of seating for your whole family. Screened section of porch has large table for al fresco dining without the bugs.
Property is 3 acres with private pier for crabbing, point with firepit and Adirondack chairs for s’mores, private pool with pergola & lounge chairs.
The main house has high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout and windows windows windows! Stream movies & hang in the large living/dining area (table seats 12!) or gather around the kitchen island. There is a first floor primary bedroom with bathroom, and two additional bedrooms on the second floor with shared bathroom.
Fully restored 2-br 1760s guest home steps from the main house allows older or younger guests to escape for an early bedtime or to read a book on the porch.
Guests are welcome to use our 2 kayaks, stand up paddle board, gas grill, propane crab pot.
We are a 15 minute drive from charming downtown Cambridge with its great dining and shopping.
Located in Cambridge, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Spocott Windmill and Choptank River Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Knapp's Narrows Marina & Inn and Tilghman Island Marina. Richardson Maritime Museum and Dorchester Arts Center are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as motor boating and other activities like birdwatching.
