If you're looking for peace, quiet, and seclusion, Sunset Mountain is just the place. Nestled on the top of a mountain on a private 47 acre tract of land, Sunset Mountain offers the true getaway you've been looking for. With its large covered porch, rocking chairs, hot tub and fire pit, you can truly detach and get the peace and quiet you've been longing for.
The inside of Sunset Mountain is farmhouse meets modern. As you step inside, you'll first step into the fully stocked kitchen complete with dining space, eat in bar, and stainless steel appliances. The living room sits just off the kitchen offering a wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating, and television with DVD player. Just off the living room are two separate bedrooms. The first is a private bedroom and features a queen sized bed, the second featuring a queen sized bed and bunk beds. For guest convenience, there is a full bath with tub/shower combo. Upstairs in the open loft, you will find two additional queen sized beds and another full bath.
Sunset Mountain is located in the Deep Gap area of the Alarka Community, which is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Bryson City. Bryson City offers the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for the Polar Express, many local shops and breweries, and the Deep Creek access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Within an hour's drive, you can also enjoy Fontana Lake, Tsali biking trails, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation.
Located in Bryson City, this vacation home is in the mountains. Nantahala Brewing Company and Smoky Mountain Country Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and Smokey Mountain Trains Museum. Bryson City Gem Mine and Ruby City Gems & Minerals are also worth visiting.
