In the Summer, you will find a calm oasis just outside your door, and after Labor Day, the lower waterline transforms the property into a riverfront home where you can witness the changing ecosystem. No matter what time of year you're vacationing, you will love the beautifully manicured path to the water and the natural stone seating, perfect for casting a line! Enjoy the hot tub or sit by the fire pit while you observe wildlife, or take advantage of the private dock and your own personal gravel put-in, right beside the home. Bring your own boat, or rent one from Alarka Marina, about a mile away.
Perfect for a small family, or couples' retreat, Kingfisher's Roost is furnished with two King Bedrooms, offering maximum comfort and privacy. With views of the water from nearly every window in the house, there's no better way to relax! The open-concept layout of the kitchen, dining and living room makes a perfect atmosphere for sharing family time and recounting the day's adventures.
When you're ready to venture out you can enjoy dining, hiking, and shopping in Bryson City, only about a ten-minute drive. You can also hop on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad from Bryson City to Dillsboro and enjoy sightseeing through the mountains. Venture to Cherokee for a historical tour or visit Harrah's Casino for games and entertainment.
