Swim in the warm waters of Maquoit Bay, view sunsets from the hot tub, sip cocktails on the large deck, and in the evening toast marshmallows over a campfire. A private retreat just 5 miles south of Bowdoin College with easy access to summer music, theater offerings, and great local restaurants. A kayak and life vests are available for your use and an outdoor shower overlooking the water. A short bike ride from Paul’s Marina which offers ice cream, penny candy, lobsters and boat services.
Our neighbor will stop by daily to feed the chickens and gather fresh eggs; she is available if any assistance is needed.
Other local areas for excursions: Portland, Bath, Popham Beach and Morse Mountain, Reid State Park or Island hopping in Casco Bay.
Located in Brunswick, this vacation home is on the waterfront. LL Bean Flagship Store and Maine Street are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Brunswick Town Commons and Cathance River Preserve. Wolfe's Neck Farm and Ash Cove Pottery are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
