The Summit House is 100% off-grid, generating its own solar power, well water, and septic system while still providing modern comforts.

Access is via 5 miles of U.S. Forest Service roads:

✔ Expect grades up to 12% as you climb to your mountaintop escape

• Hand soap pump at each sink
• 10 oz. Dawn dish soap
• 1 dishwashing washable cloth (no sponges)
• 2 dish towels + 2 bar mop towels
• 1 bath towel + 1 washcloth per guest
• 2–3 hand towels depending on stay length
• Laundry detergent if washer/dryer is available

The Maze of Hochatown and Hochatown Rescue Center & Petting Zoo are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking and hiking/biking trails nearby.
