This home is located directly on the water, on the east shore of Lake Dunmore, tucked into a sheltered, half-moon bay. It is a modern, energy efficient, four season home, decorated and furnished by an artist. Located in the heart of Vermont's Champlain Valley, we are close to both Middlebury and Brandon. Lake Champlain is 30 minutes away, and The Green Mountains behind us boast world class skiing at Killington, Pico Mountain, and Sugarbush ski Resorts. Excellent golf, antiquing, gallery hopping and dining are minutes away from this serene spot.
Out front, a large, flat lawn, complete with a rope hammock, a campfire pit, is perfect for for recreation and sunning. The sandy beach is ideal for small children.
We're well off the paved road, at the end of a dirt driveway, so the only sounds you'll hear are the loons. Everything needed for relaxing is provided.
There is one bedroom with a CA King bed, a second room with two twin bunks, and a third with a double bed.
Outside there is a large stone patio with loungers, a cocktail table and umbrella, a picnic table, lawn chairs, and a Weber gas grill.
Located in Brandon, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a lake. Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo National Recreation Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Bulwagga Books & Gallery and Vermont Folklife Center. Danforth Pewter and Kevin P. Mahaney '84 Center for the Arts are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the ice skating and snowmobiling.
