Dr. Mike Williams originally hails from Ozark, Missouri, a small town near Springfield, Missouri in the Ozarks. He attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science in Physiology and a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology. His original plans were to work towards a PhD in Physiology after graduation, but during his last year of undergraduate coursework, he spent time at the Oklahoma State University veterinary teaching hospital and fell in love with medicine. Dr. Williams attended the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2004. His special interest is surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic. He can often be found in the surgery room.

He lives with his wife, Dr. Theno, their 2 daughters, one dog, four cats, and 12 fish. His favorite hobby is restoring muscle cars, and he owns a 1970 Monte Carlo, 1968 Buick GS, and two 1969 Buick Stage 1.
