This freshly renovated 1,032 sq ft, Key West-style single-family home was originally built in 1940, and still glows with all the charm of a quintessential “old Florida” beach cottage. Yet, it’s been beautifully renovated inside and out; transformed into a sleek, stylish, contemporary seaside paradise.

Located in the Cortez neighborhood at the South end of Bradenton Beach, this dream home is just twenty steps from the white sand beach. It’s perfect for families, couples, snowbirds, boaters, beach lovers, and small groups of friends. Nestled beside a row of graceful pines, and bordered by beautiful tropical landscaping; banana trees, frangipani, coconut palms, and hibiscus, this setting is soothing and serene.

The private rooftop terrace is a highlight of this island home. Relax in a rooftop Adirondack chair, and sip your morning coffee or freshly squeezed citrus juice as the sun rises over the bay and palm fronds dance in the breeze. Ocean-view sunsets are also dreamy! Unlimited panoramic vistas stretch every direction.

Living Spaces:
The living area has soothing, warm-neutral walls just the color of sun-warmed beach sand. Luxury laminate flooring throughout the home is the hue of weathered oak. A tray ceiling with recessed lighting adds elegance to the living room. A Hamptons-blue sofa and loveseat are embellished with tasteful coastal-themed throw pillows featuring prints of coral and starfish.
This tasteful living room also has an upholstered coral-print armchair, a beachy area rug, and modern, aqua-blue rocking chairs, all nicely arranged around a wall-mounted SmartTV. Cozy up here to stream your favorite movies or shows, after a long day of water sports or sightseeing.

Kitchen/Dining:
The open-design kitchen/dining area makes for easy, convenient cooking, dining, and entertaining. The chef’s kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a French Door fridge/freezer combo with ice maker, electric range, oven, dishwasher, and microwave.

Stylish, white cabinets and kitchen island are enhanced with beautiful light-hued granite countertops with swirling veins of white, gray, and beige reminiscent of ocean waves in motion. The granite breakfast bar offers stool seating for four, below glass pendant chandeliers that resemble champagne flutes. These professional interior decor details invoke an enchanting ambiance of underwater waves, currents, and bubbles, dancing through sunlit space
The dining area, situated between the kitchen and living room, has a natural driftwood hue cafe-style table with Hamptons-blue upholstered seating for four. Fix a fresh fruit salad for lunch, grill some fish tacos for dinner. The charm of this dinette is the window views; it’s like dining in the tropical treetops, with views of the sparkling sapphire gulf of Mexico! Watch silvery dolphins and sailboats right from your dining table.

Bedrooms/Baths:
This 3 bedroom/2 bath beach home sleeps six guests total. Water views from bedroom windows will ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Bedrooms all have luxurious mattresses and sumptuous bedding. Bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, hairdryers, and toiletries. A state-of-the-art stackable washer/dryer is hidden by a pocket door.

Once you arrive at this island-style vacation home with direct beach access, you’ll agree, the home itself is a rare treasure to discover! Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico where dolphins play daily. Bring your fishing gear to cast a line off the pier, or rent a boat to get out on deep water and fish.

Relax in an Adirondack chair and sip a mimosa on the large, private rooftop patio. This paradise nestled amidst palms and tropical plantings is truly a serene spot to savor Florida sunsets in every hue of pink, violet, orange, and gold.

At dusk, gather your friends or family for a BBQ. Grill burgers, portobellos, steaks, or fresh-caught seafood! Add tropical flavor with some grilled pineapple, a dash of mango or citrus, or some homemade guacamole. Serve up a gourmet meal alfresco on the rooftop. The rooftop is also a dreamy place to stargaze or watch the moonrise.

Guests will appreciate the covered parking (below the cottage) that keeps cars shaded and cool on hot days. The cottage is built on pillars, with parking below. The paver parking area is beautifully landscaped with native plants. Guests can park 2 cars as well as boats/trailers. Stairs from the parking area lead up to the front entry (No elevator.)

The Neighborhood:
Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico where dolphins play daily. Bring your fishing gear to cast a line off the pier, or rent a boat to get out on deep water and fish. Walk to 14 different restaurants! Prime location offers an easy stroll to boutiques, entertainment, grocery market, and pharmacy. Nearby are boat rentals, sunset cruises, as well as jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals.

This seven-mile barrier island is Florida’s best-kept secret. There’s a saying here; “when you're on Anna Maria Island, you don’t go to the beach… because on Anna Maria Island, you’re already at the beach.”

The Island in the Sun is Florida’s best-kept secret. With Gulf temperatures averaging 84 degrees and 360 days of sunshine per year the surrounding waters of AMI are known as “the nursery” because of the large number of dolphins that raise their young here.

With the island’s laid-back charm and leisurely unhurried living, speed limits are restricted to 25 mph - 35 mph throughout most of the island. This tropical paradise also offers free trolley service for both tourists and residents.

Be sure to visit Anna Maria City Pier! Built in the early 1900s, this 700-foot-long pier provides a great vantage point for watching sunrises and sunsets, bird watching, dolphin watching, and provides views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. You can also fish off this pier.

Bridge Street Pier, located on the southern end of the island in Bradenton Beach, honors the past while still embracing the future with its ‘Old Florida’ charm mixed with new restaurants, shops, galleries, and more.

Enjoy the architecture and charm of Historic Green Village. Most of the restored buildings now run on solar panels and other modern energy-saving methods.

The island, surrounded by water and interlaced with canals, is host to many amazing sea creatures - among them are Loggerhead Turtles, Manatees, and dolphins. Loggerhead turtles are a protected species and we have the Turtle Watch - a group of wonderful folks who search the beaches for nests and protect those nests until the eggs hatch (it is illegal for anyone to tamper with the nests). Manatees are also protected here in Florida - they are commonly seen in the summer when they leave their winter warm waters and migrate south.

Located in Bradenton Beach, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Coquina Beach and Bradenton Beach. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town?
