Sugar Mountain Resort and Appalachian Ski Mountain are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Pisgah National Forest and Grandfather Mountain. Tweetsie Railroad and Magic Mountain Mini Golf and Arcade are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby.
