Our house is located in a residential neighborhood, bordered by National Park Service land that is designated as a bird preserve. Nearby Rocky Knob Park features a circuit of mountain bike trails, along with a pump track and playground for the kids. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a few short miles away, and you’re just minutes from a day-long hike along the Mountain to Sea Trails that zig-zag across the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our property has trail access to the MST!

You will need to have a car in order to access our house. There isn't any public transportation. You can easily park 2 cars in the designated parking area, but if for some reason you have more cars, we can work out an alternative parking situation.

4wd or all wheel drive is recommended during the winter in case of snow.

Boone is home to this apartment. Horn in the West and Hickory Ridge Living History Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Tweetsie Railroad and Foggy Mountain Gem Mine. Magic Mountain Mini Golf and Arcade and Bolick Family Pottery are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for outdoor excitement like cycling.
