This home sits on a hill above the fishing village of Bodega Bay only minutes away from renown Napa, Russian River, Sebastopol, Calistoga and Sonoma wineries. Property backs up to a green belt, insuring quiet and a lovely view of the ocean and bay.
Sleeps 4. Master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a king bed and two twins.
Baths are both tiled and the master has a heated tile floor and heated bidet. Both have showers and the tubs are large and great for soaking.
Full sized washer and dryer. Home is well stocked with bed linens and towels, a well appointed kitchen with coffee pot, espresso machine, French press, microwave, pots pans, cooking utensils, wok, electric skillet.
The home has a deck around 75% of the house allowing for plenty of outside time and great views, a picnic table, cafe table and additional outdoor table that seats 4 .The house backs up to a greenbelt.
King beds are adjustable Sleep Number beds.
Interesting Facts
The design and orientation of the home's structure has been built to look like a bow of a boat headed to sea. The interior is a masterpiece of old growth timber beams and ship joinery.
Property is also available for 1-3 month stays. Great for artists, writers or those wanting to get away to enjoy the the tranquility of the magnificent California Coast.
Located in Bodega Bay, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Children's Bell Tower and Potter Schoolhouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Wild Flour Organic Gardens and Luther Burbank's Experiment Farm. Sebastopol Center for the Arts and Rubicon Adventures are also worth visiting. Kayaking and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking/biking trails nearby.
