Welcome to Dragonfly Ridge. Escape into the clouds of our newly constructed luxury 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom true log cabin. Enjoy the beautiful mountain view and mountain breeze. Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains in the popular Cherry Log Mountain community. With a 2000 foot elevation, this cabin will provide a peaceful quiet retreat with immediate access to hiking right outside your door. The Benton MacKaye Trail is .25 miles from the front door and the trail wraps throughout the community. Only 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay and the cabin is on a paved road.

The Space:

Dragon Fly Ridge is a newly constructed modern one level cabin with stunning Criss cross beams that outline the celling. Your eyes will be drawn to the wall of windows boasting a mountain view. This open concept cabin has breathtaking views.

Kitchen:
You will enjoy a open concept chef's kitchen with solid surface countertops and a large island. Top of the line stainless steel appliances including a gas stove. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a meal. Fully stocked with Pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, and cups. Our coffee area is complete with a dual coffee maker/ tea maker that accommodates k cups or regular coffee grounds. We provide a great variety of k-cups, hot chocolate, and teas. Cream and sugar also provided. Kitchen is stocked with small appliances including toaster, blender, instant pot, and crockpot. Olive oil and basic spices are included. Just bring our own food.

Dining Room:
The Dining room is complete with a wood table with seating for 4 with a wall of windows overlooking the trees.

Living Room:
Step into the open concept living room with large windows that show off the layered mountain views. The abundance of windows brings in lots of light to make it feel like you are in the trees. You will have plenty of space for lounging on the large sectional sofa facing the floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace. The coffee table opens into a lap top working space. Enjoy the 58 inch smart tv above the fireplace where you can log into Netflix and other apps for movie night. We have a supply of extra blankets, starter firewood, and a charging station in case you forgot your phone charger. The couch folds out into a sofa bed that can be used for extra sleeping space or for a comfortable movie night.

Master Bedroom: Down the hall you will find the cozy master bedroom with king bed and brand new medium firm memory foam gel cooling mattress. Soft High thread count sheets and an assortment of pillows (both soft and firm) to suit all. A soft fluffy comforter and an extra blanket. All bedding is washed after every stay. Your comfort is important to us. The master bedroom has a wall of windows that provides a mountain view from the bed. A Large walk in closet with hangers and a tower fan in case you need it. A 43 inch smart tv completes the room.

Master Bathroom:
The en-suite master bathroom has double sinks and a walk in shower. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Soft luxury towels, make up washcloths, and plenty of toilet paper.

Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom has a king bed with comfortable Posturepedic mattress. Soft Luxury sheets and comforter, along with an assortment of pillows. A 43 inch smart tv and tower fan complete the room.

Bathroom 2: The main bathroom has double sinks and a tub/ shower combo. Lots of storage and counter space. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included along with soft luxury towels and toilet paper.

Deck: Step out onto the cozy deck off the living room for breathtaking mountain views. Deck is complete with a gas grill and a small charcoal egg grill. Seating for 4 on the deck overlooking the mountains. Relax under the stars at night on the covered deck with cathedral ceilings. Enjoy the quiet mountain air with wine in the evening and sunrise with coffee in the morning.

The Benton MacKaye Tail starts .25 miles from the cabin and winds throughout the community. Lots of Lakes and streams right inside the community. The trail is marked and accessible for you to enjoy.

Outside you will see our newly constructed firepit with seating. Sit under the stars and roast marshmallows. You will find roasting sticks in the kitchen.

Parking:
There is room for 2 cars in the driveway. Please stay to the right of the driveway when pulling down as it dips down on the left near the cabin. There is an additional parking space on the road in front of the cabin. There is a sharp turn into the driveway depending on which way you come. You may need to go turn around and come back to get to it.

Pets: We are fully dog friendly. No Pet fees or restrictions. We just ask that you clean up after your pet and treat is as your own home. We have a dog bed and a leash hanger in the cabin. Any damage or stains caused by pets could results in an extra fee.

Located in Blue Ridge, this cabin is in the mountains. Blue Ridge Community Theater and The Arts Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and Cohutta Cove Mini Golf. Tank Town USA and Rolling Thunder River Company are also worth visiting. Kayaking offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and mountain biking nearby.
