This is an ideal retreat for guests seeking comfort, nature, and convenience — not a suitable space for parties, loud gatherings, or high traffic stays.

A spacious and thoughtfully furnished 1200 sq ft home designed for relaxation and quiet enjoyment, and with everything you need for comfortable home living.

The home is bright, airy, and surrounded by forest views — perfect for guests who value peace and comfort.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have full access to the entire private, self-contained ground-level unit with its own entrance, no stairs, plenty of natural light, and beautiful views of the woods. The utility/furnace room and garage remain locked. Guests can easily park at least three cars on the driveway.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Your unit is directly below the homeowner (an IU professor) who lives upstairs, and this is a quiet household. We maintain a peaceful environment and will be respectful of your stay — we kindly ask that guests do the same.
- This listing is best suited for quiet, considerate travelers.
- No parties, gatherings, or loud group activities of any kind are permitted.
- Quiet hours are strictly 10pm–7am.
- Please review all House Rules before booking to ensure this is the right fit for your stay.

REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY
The primary guest/renter must be at least 25 years old. The maximum number of guests is six. I can use the exterior Ring security camera to check that the number of guests entering the premises matches the number you indicated when you made the booking. (There are no interior cameras anywhere.)
Located on a lake, this vacation home is in South Griffy, a neighborhood in Bloomington. IU Opera and Ballet Theater and Indiana University Auditorium are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Indiana University Golf Course and IU - Student Recreational Sports Center. Musical Arts Center and Wonderlab Science Museum are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
