This lovingly renovated and maintained 110 year old Arts&Crafts gem is ideally located in Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto; Walk Score 84. Rumored to have been built by Bernard Maybeck's master carpenter, it comes fully furnished. It is delightfully convenient for walking or biking to Cal campus, 3 shopping areas, BART, (the Bay Area's metro system) and schools. The surprisingly modern lay-out, with it's open ground floor plan, promotes entertaining and includes a foyer, living room, inglenook, dining room, and a large eat-in kitchen. The patios and mature garden, accessible through the living room, entice our guests to extend the home to the outdoors. Upstairs, around a sunlit stairwell, 2 bathrooms, a laundry closet, 3 good-sized bedrooms and an office encourage serenity.
