Welcome to the Riverfront Retreat. A stunning riverfront hide-away on the super popular westside of Bend. Perched above the river, you'll love year round views. The wildlife varies by the season, from fun and silly river floaters in summer to serene birds in winter. You can enjoy river life from both inside and outside this lovely home. Food carts, 10 Barrel Brewing, other great shops and restaurants are only a couple blocks away. You can walk downtown or the Old Mill, too. This home is truly in the heart of Bend!

This riverfront home has 3 bedrooms (king, king, queen), and a bonus bunk bed in the family room. There are 2.5 bathrooms and this home sleeps 8 very comfortably. You'll love high thread count linens, European style bedding and fluffy white towels. This home will be a perfect home away from in Bend!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Walk 1 minute to reach Galveston Street. Many Bend favorites like 10 Barrel Brewing, Ariana's, The Victorian Cafe, Sunriver brewing and more, are there. Downtown is about a 15 minutes walk or 4 minute bike cruise. You can park your car in the driveway for your entire vacation if you like. You are in the heart of Bend.

HEATING AND COOLING
Central heat and A/C will ensure you are the perfect temperature year round. Nest thermostats will provide even heat during your stay.

If you like a little breeze at bedtime, there are ceiling fans in both of the king and the queen bedrooms. You'll also find 3 cozy gas fireplaces throughout the home, perfect for anytime of year. Please note that the 4th fireplace in the upstairs living room is out of order until further notice. You'll love snuggling up in front of the fireplace in the river view master bedroom, a perfect way to wind down your day.

SLEEPING & BATH ARRANGEMENTS
Riverfront sleep at its best...This home sleeps 8 very comfortably. All bedrooms are upstairs. This home has 3 bedrooms (king, king, queen) and family room with a bunk bed (full and single). All beds feature crisp high thread count linens and European style bedding.

The master bedroom is on the river with it's own private balcony, small desk work area, fireplace and smart TV. The ensuite master bathroom has gorgeous river views from the corner soaking tub. The master bath also has a walk-in glass shower with a very generous walk-in closet.

A shared tub/shower combination bathroom in the upstairs hallway is very convenient. Don't forget the powder bath on the main floor which eliminates trips upstairs during the day.

A Pack & Play crib and 2 high chairs are also provided. Please do bring your own baby linens. You'll enjoy high thread count linens and crisp, fresh duvets in all the bedrooms. Fluffy white towels and spa towels for the hot tub provided for you as well.

KITCHEN AND DINING
This lovely kitchen is perfect perch for watching the river float by. Whether you're at the kitchen sink, sitting at the bar or prepping dinner on the island, the river is just a gaze away.

The french gas stove is a treat for the chefs and you'll find all the utensils, pots, pan you'll need for an amazing meal. Missing something? Let us know and we may be able to pick it up for you. The open dining room is just around the glass corner next to one of the warm and cozy fireplaces.

Outside is a lovely covered patio with gas grill. Feel free to use it anytime of the year and there is outdoor seating on the patio as well.

TV AND FREE WIFI
Free 1 Gbps Bend Broadband wifi. This home has 3 smart TVs located in the main floor living room, upstairs family room and master bedroom. YouTube TV is provided for your cable service. You are welcome to access your own apps.

For those on a working vacation, there is an office workspace on the main floor. It is complete with a built in desk, extra computer screen, printer and connection hub.

OUTDOOR SPACES AND SALT WATER HOT TUB
There is something for everyone at this home. Whether it's shooting hoops out front in the driveway or launching your paddle board off the back dock, soaking in the hot tub or curling up by the river with a good book, you'll find a bit of everything here.

Just a note that play gear is provided at the whim of the homeowner and the selection will vary. Currently there are some bikes, a paddle board, lots of life vests and other fun items. Please come prepared to rent toys if there is something you must have and it is not present. There is plenty of play gear in the garage. Don't miss the regulation height basketball hoop out front too.

In the back yard, the real fun begins...Walk through the wooden gate and watch the river view open up right in front of you. As you walk to the river's edge, you'll pass the (seasonal) meditation pond and waterfall. Don't miss the salt water hot tub either! We do ask you to be whisper quiet in the hot tub after 10pm. The upper yard has a gate to the lower yard to keep kiddos safe from the water's edge.

At the water's edge, you'll find your own private dock complete with lounge chairs and gas fire pit. Whether you choose to spectate or jump in, you'll love being on the river. In summer, there is endless entertainment in the endless parade of river floaters.

In quieter seasons, the river residents are birds, otters and other natural wildlife. On occasion beautiful ice floes build up on the river banks.

PARKING
Free parking in the driveway of this home for 2 vehicles. There is additional room for 2 more in the garage with extra room for your skis, bikes and other gear.

Consider High Desert Museum and Petersen Rock Garden. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling and sledding.
