The house is surrounded by woods and is completely freestanding. During breakfast you can hear the birds singing and squirrels jumping between the trees. During the warm summer evenings you can enjoy the beautiful nature in the lovely garden
The house is located on a beautiful recreation park with two nice swimming lakes, a playground, and a cosy restaurant with a lovely terrace by the water. As the park is located in national park the Hoge Kempen, you can go on fantastic walking and cycling trips. No less than 440 km of paths to discover. The beautiful village of old Rekem was voted the most beautiful village in Flanders in 2008. For families with children there is a great gnome forest in Lanaken
