The Woodstock Villa is a stunningly elegant secret gem nestled in the heart of the Catskills Mountains. Located on one of Woodstock's most desirable roads, everything about this Tuscan-style home has been a creative endeavor by the past and owners, and now the new owners who have left no detail unturned. You will be delighted to discover rare and unique architectural details and original designed work from the venetian plastered walls, to custom and vintage ironwork, to stained glass windows and reclaimed, rare antiqued wood in the doors and window insets. It's like being inside a welcoming work of art. Upon entering, the foyer offers a serene welcome with floor-to-ceiling windows, radiant porcelain tiles and a soothing water feature. You then enter this one of a kind home that will become a refuge as well as a place to just "be". It has 3 beautifully designed bedrooms and baths as well as a large kitchen which serves as the heart of the home, anchored by a wood burning stove, set within a stone fireplace. Equipped with Wolf double ovens, wood covered copper handled sub-zero refrigerator, a copper sink, reclaimed wood cabinets, a range hood and all modern appliances. This large recently upgraded kitchen will be a place to gather or prepare home cooked meals . There is an office to work in that is also serene and welcoming for those who need to work on vacation. It is wifi equipped, quiet and has a great view. The two remaining rooms, are available to watch TV , lounge and relax or read. Both rooms are spacious, calming and inviting.
This beautiful upstate setting has been professionally landscaped with stone paths, flower beds, fruit trees and a vegetable garden when in bloom, where you can pick fresh herbs as well as vegetables. You can lounge right outside the kitchen, or on one of the outdoor patios or even better yet, by the 850 square foot heated, self cleaning saline in-ground pool with a calming waterfall. The pool is surrounded by yet another patio with landscaped plants and shrubs.
On top of all this welcoming luxury we can connect you with a private chef, who will cook and deliver you fresh home cooked meals and baked goods. We can help you shop for groceries or whatever it is you need. There is someone to help cater to all your needs.
And when the day is done, you can walk off those calories or just take in the breathtaking view of Cooper Lake, which is an invigorating 15 minute stroll which is about a mile down the road. Woodstock village is less than a five minute drive from the front door, where there is a variety of excellent restaurants and boutique shopping.
