A cute cabin with an ideal location. It is easy to find, and it is just off the county road with plenty of parking space. Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can even enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. There are country markets up the road, hiking trails, a restaurant, and plenty of water activities to enjoy. In the winter, enjoy ice fishing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and more. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter, depending on snowpack.

Located in Bayfield, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Vallecito Lake and Lake SImpatico Trailhead, while Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Animas Museum are cultural highlights. Eagle Park and James Ranch are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and ice skating.
