We built our home in 2004, cut from over 3 acres of woods in the heart of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. It sits 1 mile north of Somes Sound, and is within easy reach of hiking, biking, carriage roads, boat tours, and all of the shopping and restaurants to be found in the several quaint towns on the island.
We created our space to gather and connect with family and friends, and hope that you enjoy it, too.
Our home sleeps eight easily. The master bedroom has a king bed and is located on the main floor. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the 2nd floor. The kitchen is fully-appointed to help you create memorable meals; dine inside on our farmhouse table, or eat on the deck. We also maintain a lovely kitchen garden, and welcome guests to pick what they need to round out their meals - it would be a shame for fresh produce to go to waste! After a busy day of adventuring in the park, relax in the deep jacuzzi master tub, or sit by the Solo Stove fire pit and cook S'mores.

Located in Bar Harbor, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park and Acadia National Park's Visitors Center. Traveling with kids? Consider Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf and College of the Atlantic Natural History Museum. Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
