After a long day of fun in the snow or sun, head to Beech Mountain Village and stop at Beech Mountain Brewing for a locally brewed beer. Would you rather wind down with a glass of wine? Relax at the dog-friendly Banner Elk Winery.

A great General Store right up the road is Fred's where you can stop on your way in for whatever you need during your stay. It also has the best breakfast in town! This kid-friendly, top-floor condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making it perfect for family getaways (dogs included!). Spend soothing evenings around the gas fire table on the deck and take in the marvelous mountain views. Inside, this updated retreat offers an inviting mountain feeling with a gas log fireplace to cozy up around and a well-appointed kitchen. Watch out for deer on the drive up, they're everywhere and aren't scared of humans. You will see them in the condo parking lot and from the back porch balcony. If you're lucky, you may even see a bear!
