This is rental is for the entirety of Spindrift Oceanfront Home, which includes the two-bedroom main house section, The Helm, and the separate one-bedroom section, The Starboard. If you have a smaller group, you can rent either of the home's two sections separately (please contact Vacasa for more details).

Tucked into a quiet residential street on the south side of town, this home is within walking distance to all the fun activities the coast affords, including clamming, crabbing, fishing, hiking, and more. But if you want to explore in town, take Highway 101 north for just two miles to arrive in Bandon's quaint Old Town.

Let the soothing sounds of the coast be your guide as you step into this modern beach home. Kick off your shoes and settle in for some mid-afternoon entertainment in the living area, which features cable- and DVD-equipped television, a wood-burning fireplace, and comfortable seating for your whole group.

If you'd like to get a better view of the natural surroundings, walk just beyond the living area to the sprawling outdoor deck. Here, you can peer out over the majestic coastline and watch for an occasional gray whale, tufted puffins, and other seabirds in the surf.

Come back inside to warm up a cozy fire, or head into the kitchen to whip up a homemade meal. With its modern appliances, ample countertops, and variety of cookware, the kitchen has everything you'll need for fresh-cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But it also has important extras like a coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and microwave.

Sit down to eat with your group at the nearby six-seat dining table or take your meal onto the outdoor deck for al fresco experience. You'll even find a charcoal grill outside, so fire it up if the weather calls for a barbecue!

When your activity-filled day comes to an end, retire for a great night's sleep in any of the three bedrooms or in the living areas. All three bedrooms have queen-size beds which, with the addition of two sofabeds in the living areas, will accommodate up to nine guests. You're welcome to bring one or two dogs, though please note a nightly pet fee applies.

Read by lamplight in bed, journal about your day at the small desk by one of the rooms, or flip on the television in one of the rooms to catch a favorite nighttime show. There's even a microwave and mini-fridge in the master bedroom in case you feel like having a late-night snack.

In the morning, wake to a fresh cup of coffee in the kitchen, connect to the WiFi, and start planning your day. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the area's options, including hiking at Bullards Beach State Park (about six miles north), deep sea fishing with a local charter, and paddling down the Coquille River on a rented watercraft. If you're a golfer, a tee time at one of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort's five highly regarded courses is a must, and if you like sightseeing road trips, head north or south on Highway 101 to visit other coastal communities, each with their own quaint charm.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
