Welcome to the Swinging Fly cabin! It’s a true cabin in the woods located on the Middle Branch of the Pere Marquette River in Baldwin Michigan (trout season applies on this section of river). It’s been recently remodeled from top to bottom - it’s a gem to be enjoyed year round. The Swinging Fly is located on 8.2 acres of property which includes 1,320 feet of private river frontage. You can fish right out the back of the cabin, or a short five minute drive down the road and you're floating on the headwaters of the Pere Marquette’s famous flies-only waters (year round fishing). There is also canoeing and hiking trails available. Try a section of North Country National Scenic Trail, it's the longest in the National Trails System, stretching 4,800 miles across eight states from North Dakota to Vermont and it passes right though the Huron-Manistee National Forest. Lake County also boasts 393 lakes, and 42 trout streams to explore within its boundaries.

Located in Baldwin, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Idlewild Historic and Cultural Center is a local attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Pere Marquette Floodplain Plant Preserve and Huron-Manistee National Forest. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling.
