What WE LOVE and think YOU WILL LOVE about the Island:
~ One of the world's best kept secrets! The DIAMOND of diamonds!
~The largest of the Bahamian Islands, and the least populated.
~ The no worry, no hurry...it's all GOOD", laid back mentality, where the only time is "ISLAND TIME".
~ The only place you can walk into empty bar, barefoot with ratty shorts and a tank top , holler for service, and owner will greet you with open arms and will whip up their "Special Drink".
~ The handful of Restaurants and Take-Aways may only be open every other week, on the 3rd Thursday of every 2nd month and ONLY if there is a full moon... But, "No Worries Mon", the locals "Got" you. They will call a friend, neighbor or cousin to cook you up an amazingly, delicious Bahamian meal complete with Rice, Beans, Lobster, Conch and Fish and Slaw.
~ The neighborhood markets might resemble the home to a native, and they may or may not have but you will have fun getting creative in preparing meals with the selection of food and beverages they do offer.
