Welcome to Touch of Class Cottage, a brand-new home (completed December of 2023) built with comfort and style in mind. This beach chic cottage is located on beautiful Little Bay, just north of Savannah Sound.

Every room in the cottage has an ocean view. Both upstairs and down have a spacious outdoor deck--upstairs is open for sunning and downstairs is covered and equipped a unique sliding panel that can be moved depending if you want shade or sun. Both decks overlook the ocean.

Touch of Class Cottage features two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, and two full baths. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, so the cottage can sleep up to 6 guests.

The entire second floor of the cottage is dedicated to the master bedroom suite, which has spectacular ocean views through a wall of glass, and a private deck overlooking the sea. The en-suite bath features double sinks open to the ocean view, a private water closet, and a walk-in shower.

The first floor contains the second bedroom, a full bath with walk-in shower, and the open-concept great room with sofa, arm chairs, and a 55-inch flat screen TV.

We have a full island kitchen, double oven and stove, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the appliances: Air fryer, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, kettle etc.

The entire home is custom built including the cabinets and furniture. We have Starlink internet for high speed and reliability. We have both city and cistern water and a RO 7-stage filter system for drinking water. To make it all work even when the power is out, we have a 30 KVA generator set up with an auto transfer switch.

For larger groups, we have a three bedroom house next door that can be added to the reservation for an additional charge.

Amenities include WIFI, AC throughout, smart TV with fire stick, books, washer/dryer, back-up generator, 2 kayaks, and snorkeling gear.

There is a good grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, and an excellent restaurant, Fishbone Beach Bar and Grill, just 5 minutes from the property. The town of Palmetto Point, less than 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores and a good restaurant. Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just 20 minutes by car from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won't want to miss it.

Located in Savannah Sound, this cottage is on the beach. Haynes Public Library is a local landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve and Ten Bay Beach. Jet skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cave exploring nearby.
