Aalen Beach House is located on the seafront at Kingscote, the heart of Kangaroo Island
Situated 1.6 km from the town centre and directly on the foreshore of Nepean Bay. The house is modern and has large living areas , with the front deck stretching the width of the house overlooking the sea . The beach is just a few steps away. The house has 3 queen bedrooms to accomodate up to 6 adults and a bunk room for 4 kids. There are 2 separate lounge areas, both with flat screen TVs, to ensure there is ample space for everyone to relax in. The kitchen is fitted out with modern appliances and faces the open plan dining and living area leading out to the front deck.
There are two bathrooms with walk in showers, plus a separate bath in the main bathroom and a fully equipped laundry in the second. There are 2 separate toilets.
A large spacious family friendly house where you can enjoy magnificent views over water sunrises, relaxing strolls on the long beach, swim in the safe waters of Nepean Bay and soak up the natural fauna and flora .
Aalen Beach House is a perfect central location to visit any area of the island. Kingscote, the main commercial centre of Kangaroo Island, is in easy walking distance via the paved walkway passing the front, and the Airport is only 10 minutes away.
Aalen is a German term for basking, we trust you will enjoy basking in the peacefulness and beauty of the setting that inspired the name.

** Please note this property is not fully fenced and closely adjoins the beach. Additionally, as the house is elevated a stainless steel wired balcony extends on three sides and as such young children require supervision.

Bunk beds are fitted with polyester mix quilts, pillows and all linen.
All Bath sheets, bath mats, hand towels, face washers.

Located in Kingscote, this vacation home is on the beach. Reeves Point Historic Site and Hope Cottage Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bay of Shoals Winery and Spring Road Winery. Traveling with kids? Consider Kingscote Tidal Pool and Exceptional Kangaroo Island. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours nearby.
