Relax with the whole Family on our beautiful 10-acre property located in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
Don Valley Lodge is a quaint log cabin that has been lovingly restored with modern features throughout.
Surrounded by picturesque, tree lined grounds the property is visited regularly by an abundance of stunning Birds, Ducks, Rabbits, Fallow Deer and even the occasional Wombat or Echidna.
Don Valley Lodge is a fully self-contained, Two Bedroom house, with a bright and spacious Living Room, Full Kitchen, separate Bathroom with Shower and a deep, luxurious Bath and a Washing machine.

THE BEDROOMS:

The First Bedroom contains a comfortable Queen-Sized Bed. The Second Bedroom has a Bunk Bed with a Double Bed at the bottom and a Single Bed at the top.
A Single Fold-Out Bed, a Single Mattress and a Portable Cot are also available to accommodate extra Guests (extra Fees may apply).
Extra Pillows, Blankets and Doonas are provided.

THE KITCHEN:

The kitchen, complete with Stone Benchtops, includes a Full Oven, Bench Top Stove, Microwave, Family Sized Fridge and Freezer, Double Sink and is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, cutlery ( including Chopsticks) and dinnerware (including Plastic Dinnerware & Cutlery for children).

COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST PROVISIONS PROVIDED:

Breakfast Provisions are supplied including a variety of Cereals, Pancake mix, a Loaf of Bread, Milk, Butter and a variety of Spreads. We also provide guests with sachets of Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Sugar, Cookies and a selection of Teas.

SUPPLIES FOR CHILDREN:
-A Porta-Cot is available upon request (extra fees may apply),
-A Baby/Toddler Booster Seat with Tray,
-A Baby/Toddler Change Mat,
-A Step Stool,
-Plastic Cutlery & Dinnerware &
-Children's Books & DVD's.

OTHER ESSENTIALS PROVIDED:

Bed Linen, Towels, Hand Towels, Face Washers, Tea Towels, Washing Machine Powder, Iron, Ironing Board, Clothes Drying Rack, Hairdryer, Birdseed and Bathroom Amenities are also supplied.

THE BATHROOM:

The large, modern Bathroom contains a large stand-alone Bath, Shower, Toilet and Washing Machine.
Enjoy a relaxing soak in the deep bath, complete with the Bath Salts provided, after a day of enjoying a bike ride or walk on the nearby Warburton Trail.

THE LOUNGE ROOM:

The spacious lounge room contains comfy Leather Lounges, mountain and garden views, a 55 Inch Flat Screen, Smart TV with Foxtel and a DVD player. A selection of DVD's are provided for Guests to watch during their stay and Board Games, Card Games and a selection of Books, including Children's Books are also available to enjoy.
FREE WIFI IS ALSO PROVIDED. There is a dedicated Workspace with a Desk and a comfortable Desk Chair.

WILDLIFE TO ENJOY AT DON VALLEY LODGE:

Decking is on three sides of the house, where Guests can enjoy an outdoor meal and feed the local birds, while enjoying the views of our beautiful property.

A wide variety of Native Birds visit our property daily including: Kookaburras, White and Black Cockatoos, Rosellas, Galahs and King Parrots, plus many more including Owls that can sometimes be heard at night.
Ducks, Fellow Deer and even the occasional Wombat or Echidna can also be seen on the property.

A Picnic Rug is available so that Guests can enjoy a picnic on one of the serene areas on our property surrounded by beautiful gum trees.
A small Barbeque is also provided for Guests to use outside.

LOCATION:

Don Valley Lodge is only a 3-minute drive from the township of YARRA JUNCTION, which has an abundance of shops including Woolworths Supermarket, Variety Stores, a Chemist, Doctors Surgery, Post Office, Banks, Bakeries, Butchers, Cafes, Restaurants, Take Away shops and a Health Food Store, where guests can source all their necessary supplies.
Yarra Junction also has a Playground and an Indoor Sports Centre with an Indoor Pool, Gym & Basketball Courts.

The popular township of HEALESVILLE is only a short 15-minute drive away where you can visit many world-renowned wineries including Domain Chandon and Rochford, the famous Four Pillars Gin distillery, or spend a day viewing all the wildlife at Healesville Sanctuary.

WARBURTON is also only a 15-minute drive away where you can visit Redwood Forest, explore the many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, or have a picnic lunch by the Yarra River and feed to local ducks.

MOUNT DONNA BUANG is 30-minute drive from Don Valley Lodge and is normally covered with snow during the winter months and is a perfect spot for snow play, sightseeing and tobogganing.

Don Valley Lodge is one of two houses on our 10-acre property. My husband and I live with our 2 sons and our 2 Labradors (the dogs are contained within a fenced area) in the main house which is located approximately 15 metres from Don Valley Lodge.

The property is serviced by Tank Water, which is safe to drink and we provide all guest with a complimentary bottle of spring water. We ask that Guests conserve water as much as possible.

NO CLEANING FEES:

We do not currently charge Guests a Cleaning Fee. We kindly request that guests respect Don Valley Lodge and keep the space neat and tidy, otherwise we will have to commence charging Cleaning Fees.
