Other nearby attractions include fishing piers, fishing charters for deep sea adventures, water sports lessons and rentals, and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway for passing mariners.
The Nautical Club visitors can also take an easy drive north to Atlantic Beach and the neighboring Fort Macon historic site and adjacent public beaches or can head inland to Morehead City, which is known for great shopping and dining, or the town of Beaufort, which is a historic community with a rich maritime community.
