The Independence Square is a historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Aspen and only one block to Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola. This stunning second-floor corner condominium is a rare one-bedroom with one-and-a-half-bath rental. Its six windows offer amazing mountain and town views, which overlook the Cooper Avenue Mall. Flush with amenities, this premier condominium has hardwood floors, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, a formal dining area for six people, a separate living area with a full sleeper sofa, a walk-in closet, heated bathroom floors, and a built-in Sonos sound system.
This suite features a King bed and a Futon sofa in the living area.
Complex amenities at Independence Square include housekeeping services, a rooftop sun deck and hot tub, on-site check-in and front desk services, free Wi-Fi, an elevator, and ski lockers. Guests also receive complimentary continental breakfast items. There is an elevator that accesses all hotel rooms and condominiums from the lobby; however, guests must walk down a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. Independence Square is only a few steps from the Rubey Park bus station, which provides free bus service to all the area ski mountains, including Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. All Frias Properties guests receive complimentary access to local health club facilities. (Passes can be obtained from any Frias Properties front desk during regular business hours.)
