Welcome to our Colorado retreat! As soon as you walk through the door you’ll be greeted with high ceilings, hanging chandeliers and a grand wrap-around staircase. You’ll find that the home is stocked and furnished for any occasion. Hosting a reunion? We have many gathering spaces for dining and leisure. Need to work remotely? There’s a private study located on the main floor. Looking to unwind? Take a dip in the hot tub under the twinkling lights or in the soaking tub located in the master bathroom.

Downstairs you’ll find fully reclining theater chairs, a large TV projector pre-equipped with Disney+ and Hulu, a surround sound speaker system, karaoke, cozy blankets and a complimentary popcorn making station in our wet bar. In the basement we’ve also included a professional grade ping pong table to take your game to the next level. If you prefer board games, our upstairs poker room is stocked with the classics. If you’re more of the outdoorsy-type, you can find lawn games like giant Jenga and corn hole in the backyard. Afterwards enjoy dinner on the patio or take it right inside to our large 10-person dining room radiating with warmth and natural light.

Our 5 bed/4 bath layout leaves room for comfortably hosting any group size. The master bedroom truly is a touch of luxury with a king-sized bed, private secondary fireplace, walk-in closet and full custom bathroom more lavish than the most upscale hotel. Across the hall we have three additional bedrooms, one of which boasts another private king. Each of the four bathrooms contain a shower and/or bathtub to get everyone up and out the door in reasonable time each morning.

Being centrally situated between many major Colorado destinations, you can choose to stay close to home or venture into the wilderness with equal ease. In just a few minute’s walk you’ll discover a coffee shop, sculpture park and the Arvada Center offering a rotating cast of musicals and candlelight quartets. Just over a mile down the road is Olde Town Arvada, complete with a walking mall and dozens of places to eat, drink, or shop (not to mention some hidden speakeasies - shh!). With a short twenty minute drive you can get to downtown Denver, Golden, or Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and a little farther to go up to Boulder. For the nature-lover or sports enthusiast, a quick hop onto the nearby I-70 highway will take you to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, or Rocky Mountain National Park in just over an hour. We’re always interested to know where your travels are taking you and happy to give recommendations from a local’s point-of-view.

Our driveway can fit 3 cars in the garage, 6 additional midsize cars in the driveway, and 2 in front of the house for a total of 11 at the high end.

A couple notes on parking:
• Please do not park in front of the neighbor's houses
• Make sure to not obstruct the sidewalk when parking in the driveway
• We do not allow extra large vehicles (buses, large RVs, moving vehicles, and trailers) on the property at any time

Final Notes
========
You will be sent a unique entry code to the front door on the morning of your arrival.

Trash and recycling day is Thursday morning, so on Wednesday nights we may have to retrieve the garbage cans to put out front, and return them on Thursday morning. We may also shovel snow off the sidewalk and driveway as needed to comply with a city ordinance that states snow must be shoveled within 24 hours. If either of these things apply during your stay we will give a heads up and do our best not to bother you!

Scenic Heights, a neighborhood in Arvada, is home to this vacation home. Union Station and 16th Street are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Denver Zoo and Water World.
